An old rectory,
a new life

Beside the village church, behind a stone portal, Villa La Canonica was brought back to life through a patient, personal restoration guided by the owner's eye: whitewashed beams, marble fireplaces, hand-painted stripes and artworks in conversation with history.

The result is a house like no other: eclectic yet rigorous, theatrical yet intimate. A small refuge where every object has a story to tell.

Gilded mirrors and contemporary murals, wrought iron and velvet, ceramics and antique woods. Every room is a small domestic stage, designed for those who love spaces with character.

In winter the fire crackles beside your breakfast tray; in summer the doors open onto the courtyard and garden. Here, beauty is a daily habit.

Oleanders and olive trees, sofas in the shade of the sails, loungers turned to the sun: the garden is the true living room of the house. At sunset, the poolside Summer House lights up for aperitivo.

What time are check-in and check-out?

Check-in is from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, check-out from 7:00 am to 10:30 am. Please let us know your expected arrival time in advance.

Is breakfast included? How is it served?

Yes. An Italian breakfast — pastries, juices and coffee, with a selection of quality Italian products — is brought to your room on a tray, to enjoy at your own pace.

Is the pool always open?

The outdoor pool is seasonal: open in the warm months, set in the garden with loungers, shade sails and a sun terrace.

Is there parking? Can I charge an electric car?

Yes: free parking next to the church, steps from the entrance, an EV charging station and covered bicycle storage.

Are children welcome?

Gladly, from 1 year of age. For guests aged 6–17 an extra bed is available on request (€30 per night).

Are pets allowed? Can I smoke?

No: for everyone's comfort the house does not accept pets and is entirely non-smoking. Quiet hours are observed from 10 pm to 7 am.
